
Who We Are
Narayan Chamber of Policy (NCP) was established on 5th September, 2021. The date also marked the 36th work anniversary of Narayan Chamber of Law (Read More). It focusses on the interface of law, policy and regulation, with its multi-faceted impact on various stakeholders. We keep India and her interests at the center of any policy discourse.
This is an emerging area for Narayan Chamber. NCP’s initial focus is on the sphere of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), given the potential contribution of Digital Economy in achieving India’s aspiration to become a $5 trillion economy. We work in different sectors (Read More), and adopt an outcome-driven approach, by deploying various tools and methods to drive research-based policy making (Read More).
Our Vision & Mission
Narayan Chamber of Policy (NCP) was established with a mission of promoting socio-economic welfare of the Indian citizenry through optimal policy and regulation making. We remain committed to undertake evidence-based research and conduct inclusive stakeholder consultations, to suggest policy reforms. NCP envisions to be recognized as a pioneer research-based advocacy Chamber, working on pressing issues affecting India in the 21st century.
Our Philosophy
We, at Narayan Chamber of Policy (NCP) believe in an inclusive regulation making process, wherein a multi-stakeholder perspective is incorporated in upcoming regulations.
NCP also advocates for the adoption of scientific regulation making process, by undertaking Cost-Benefit Analysis of proposed and existing regulations, in order to ensure that the costs of regulatory compliance do not outweigh its intended benefits.
Our evidence-based advocacy initiatives provide research-based inputs to the government and private entities on regulation making and implementation of business practices.
Adopting an outcome-driven approach, we strive to network with key stakeholders, to sensitize them on key policy recommendations and practices.

Our Team

Amitabh Narayan
Founding & Managing Partner
He started practice in the year 1985 and founded Narayan Chamber of Law. He is the main pillar of the chamber and has vast experience in Property law, Family law, Banking law and Consumer law. His expertise lies in dishonor of cheques on behalf of complainants, divorce by mutual consent, rent control and eviction cases, and drafting of agreements and deeds. During his 35 years of legal journey, he has represented and advised various individual and corporate clients and has appeared before the High Court, Consumer Forums and District Courts. View CV.

Shreya Narayan
Partner
She joined Narayan Chamber of Law and Policy in the year 2021. She carries with her, the legacy of her Grandfather, Late Dr. (Prof) M.P. Jain, who was an authority in Constitutional Law and a coveted luminary in the field of Administrative Law, and Indian Legal History. She has advised and argued in various cases pertaining to Consumer law, Matrimonial law, Property law, Commercial law and Insolvency and Bankruptcy law. View CV.
